Ex-pastor accused of cyber-stalking Shreveport woman

A Marshall, Texas, man is accused of sending sexually explicit e-mail one day in March to a 21-year-old Shreveport woman who at one time attended Central Baptist while he was the pastor there.

The anonymous messages “made several references to the woman’s breasts,” a Caddo sheriff’s office news release states.

Matthew Darren Wood, 38, of Pine Burr Circle, was issued a misdemeanor summons on a charge of cyberstalking when he turned himself in to Caddo detectives Tuesday, according to the release.

Wood no longer is employed at Central Baptist, according to David Simpson, the church’s business administrator.
